WORLD
This world is an oddity full of so much wonder and beauty that changes daily. It is also called Earth. It is the only strange planet that we know of in an unknown cosmic environment. In this world that is changing everyday and is being changed by us, there are many wonderful places that we have never seen. This earth is divided and classified by us into some major categories.
Continents of the World
The largest parts of our world separated by us are called continents. According to the world map,
Asia
Asia is the largest continent in the world. It also has the first place in the population of the world. It is also considered to be the place where the first civilization of the world originated.
It lies east of the American and European continents, northeast of the African continent, northwest of the Australian continent and north of the Antarctic continent.
Africa
Africa is the second largest continent in the world and second in population.
It is located southeast of North America, northeast of South America, south of the European continent, southwest of the Asian continent, northwest of the Australian continent and north of the Antarctic continent.
North America
North America, the world’s third largest continent, has the fourth largest population.
It lies north of South America, west of Asia and Europe, northwest of Africa and Australia, and north of Antarctica.
South America
South America is the fourth largest continent in the world and has the fifth largest population in the world.
South America is south of North America, southwest of Europe, Asia and Africa, west of Australia and north of Antarctica.
Antarctica
Antarctica is the fifth largest continent in the world. It has the South Pole and is sparsely populated.
The continent of Antarctica lies south of all the other continents.
Europe
Europe is the sixth largest continent and the third most populous in the world.
It is located east of North America, northeast of South America, west of Asia, northwest of Australia, and north of Africa and Antarctica.
Australia
Australia has the sixth largest population in the world and the seventh largest in terms of continental area.
It is located east of South America, north of Antarctica and southeast of continents like Asia, Europe, Africa and North America.
